Thank you for visiting High Heel Appeal™
My name is Suzanne Fetting, a Confidence Coach from beautiful Vancouver, B.C.
I am a former fashion model and fashion show producer who began modeling at the age of 15. As a result, I learned at a young age how to glide effortlessly down the catwalks in stilettos.
After suffering a devastating knee injury while on holidays in Mexico three years ago, I was forced into unexpected downtime requiring time off work, which ultimately resulted in the loss of my “dream job.”
As is everything, having gone through this experience was such a gift. I was given the opportunity to learn many invaluable lessons that I may not have learned otherwise, as well as being given the time to start my businesses. I wake up every single day so thankful to be able to do EXACTLY what I was put on this planet to do.
With all my new found spare time, I chose to start working on ABSOLUTE CONFIDENCE business as a Confidence Coach. I had accumulated a lot of information, done a lot of writing over the previous couple of years, and all of a sudden I had nothing but time to develop an exciting and unique business.
I began putting together the two years of the research and writing about confidence that I had compiled. (*My book is available here: “The 10 Components of Confidence”)
Then after having undergone reconstructive knee surgery, I was unable to wear high heels for an entire year, which was very frustrating for me (I LOVE my high heels and my high heeled shoe collection is extensive!) During my recovery period, I had a vision – to educate women about high heels. High heels are the one accessory that when purchased and worn correctly give women confidence. And nothing is more powerful than confidence!
I set a goal for myself –to teach a class one year from my surgery date. I achieved that goal and held my first “High Heel Appeal” class in Vancouver, B.C. which was a huge success! Maclean’s magazine found out about the class, and sent out a writer to do a story. It was incredible –they did a full page story and even featured it on the front cover!
Then Global National did a news story, then I was on a several radio shows, and BreakFast Television, then an article was written in The Vancouver Sun, The Calgary Herald, The Ottawa Citizen, 24 Hours newspaper…and then before I knew it, I was off to Toronto to film for CBC’s Dragon’s Den. Filming took place in Toronto in May and the episode will be airing on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2010 at 8:00 PM (8:30 PM in NFLD) on CBC Television.
It has been truly amazing how quickly my business idea became so popular, in just one year! Check out my Media Page to learn more.
The overwhelming response from people across Canada that wanted to attend the class gave birth to the inspiration of a unique DVD, the first instructional high heel DVD of its kind.
In addition to being a high heel instructor, I am a Confidence Coach and the founder of Absolute Confidence. My passion and vision is to inspire, empower and assist women of all ages, shapes and sizes to discover their AUTHENTIC self, their inner strength, to overcome their fears and increase their self-love!
